oylhgc2012: so my mini twists failed, my hair rebelled and unraveled because it cant keep a twist in. So in a desperate attempt to protect & style, I installed Yarn braids/Genie locs. Feedback? I made them a normal length because I think extremely long extensions/wigs/braids etc look ridiculous. This is naomi.monroe from YouTube…remember me?? :). I love your yarn braids I just put some in a week ago. I definitely have to send you pics, mine are long like down my back.

yagazieemezi: My graduation/christmas gift from my amazing fine bobo of a man to help me capture my travels and progress with my blog.  It came with err’thang!! My cards are being shipped to me thanks to my sister. I’m getting ready!!! So you do your braids yourself? Of so how long does it take you? They’re so beautiful….I really wanna do my hair like that but I’m.afraid I would do it too small.or it would come out sloppy. :)

truth be told….

Things never go as planned, that’s why we have to take it one day at a time. Appreciate the smiles and the tears, count it all joy, all of those days, because you will never get it back. Take every step forward and love the past steps, it contributes to your present and creates your future.
